The role
Reporting to the Sales Director, the marketing co-ordinator will build awareness by developing and executing on marketing strategies to meet consumer need, and help to maximise sales from new/existing customers.

In your role you will work with the leaders of our 3 firms and support them with regular marketing tasks that include content creation, social media, PR, webinars, email outreach and newsletters. This will include campaign activity to drive new business leads, as well as nurturing existing contacts and general brand maintenance and improvement. You will also work with the various team managers and seniors across the Group to pull-in their specialist skills and knowledge when required as well as coordinate their input into content and event presentations.

You will craft promotional messaging, distributing it to both B2C and B2B clients via various marketing channels – the main ones being email, PPC, content/publications, website and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Group marketing strategy and coordinating efforts across teams
  • Leading on the branding and design elements of content, including brochures, presentations, social media content and blogs
  • Maintaining Group company websites
  • Managing Social Channels
  • Reactive and proactive PR
  • Management and maintenance of email campaigns and newsletters
  • Working with teams to maintain consistency in branding across external and internal documents
  • Organising events. These are mainly online webinars but there will be a few in person each year
  • Working with teams to deliver marketing campaigns, create content (blogs etc)
  • Analysing the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
  • Map out goals with the management team to measure effectiveness of all marketing activity and report back
  • Collaborate with and support the sales team in dual campaigns
  • Manage the company’s digital lead generation strategy
  • External agency management – work with external agencies (PPC, digital PR, SEO & web development) to maximise marketing output and direct to align with wider marketing strategy
  • Draft award entries for both industry award shows, and wider, relevant accolades, to enhance both our reputation in the field and brand awareness
  • Attendance at key meetings
  • General administration for marketing related queries

Skills and experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in marketing
  • A creative flair and passion for digital marketing
  • Experience in maintaining and updating websites and web-based platforms
  • A self-starter and self-learner with strong follow-through orientation and commercial awareness
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • A strong eye for detail (some design background is a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and an understanding of how financial products work
  • Problem solving skills and adaptability

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
