“So what’s been happening with Pure Commercial Finance lately?” you may ask. Well, lots of exciting developments actually. Here are a few highlights that we’re especially proud of:

From Rugby Star to Business Development Director

Last month, Pure Commercial Finance welcomed a new member to the senior management team – a new business development director! The role has been filled by Jamie Ringer, a former Welsh International rugby player and now a commercial finance expert.

Since retiring from sport, Jamie has built his knowledge of commercial finance up through working on a wealth of development projects in previous positions.

Jamie’s new role will involve looking at the company’s client base, as well as targeting businesses who may benefit from the services the company offers. Jamie said: “I have worked with Ben and his team whilst in my previous role and was impressed by the quality of their customer service and products. The future plans for the company are exciting and I’m delighted to be joining the team and look forward to continuing to build and work on a healthy pipeline of referral business, through our network of intermediaries across the UK.”

Jamie’s appointment now brings the Pure Commercial staff up to a team of seven! That’s huge growth since we started 18months ago, but we intend on continuing to grow.

Ben Lloyd, Pure Commercial Finance’s director said: “Jamie joins Pure at an exciting time. We are still a relatively new company in a competitive marketplace but already funding on average £3.5m a month and have made significant in-roads in terms of market share. Demand for products to finance commercial property purchases and developments has increased and will continue to do so, hence us recruiting Jamie with specific knowledge of this sector.”

Wales Online’s 35 Under 35

And Ben Lloyd himself has seen great success recently by becoming recognised by the Wales Online 35 Men Under 35.

This is a list of young entrepreneurs and business men making a real mark on the world of business in Wales.

Here he is joined by Llanishen neighbour, Liberty Marketing’s MD, Gareth Morgan, as well as Dale Williams of BBC’s Masterchef and 32 other successful male professionals.

Ben was recognised for his success in growing the team so quickly, and the business’ success of placing millions of pounds of commercial finance each month.
